bloggart tags are separated with newlines
Not spaces, not commas. Newlines.
Reading the code didn't help at all; aetycoon just gave me another bad case of mindwarp.

Goodbye MSN, hello GAE/Bloggart
I'm shifting from my old blog on MSN spaces. I'm really sad that after 2 years MSN spaces didn't do anything much for the blog interface, except for a new preview option.
